Making a craftable armor reskin: the leather armor is finished (look: somewhat tattered), working on turning diamond armor into:
Head: Blessed Headband (finished)
Body: Amulet of Wise (finished)
Bottoms: Ubermaster's Cyan Belt (not started)
Feet: Footpads of Cystar fish (somewhat finished)

Done with leather, iron, chainmail and diamond "armor", what to reskin gold armor into?

I find iron to be the rarest for me. I never find any. I've found more diamond the last few times I've played than iron.

According to Twitter, the down time was unintentional, the server went down as soon as Notch left the country and he just put it back up.

Minecraft Alpha is what you're looking for

It doesn't matter whether you download the client or play in your browser, but you can play without an internet connection if you download the client and log in at least once
