Another Goddamn question from me to you guys about Minecraft, and how the Hell it works! What a big loving surprise!

I downloaded the "Minecraft_Server.exe" from Minecraft.net so I could make my own Multiplayer server, all it says to do is "place it anywhere you want, then run it." Well, I do just that, save it in "My Documents" where Minecraft is. When it's done installing, I hit open and a window pops up and says "the Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this Software?" then I hit run again. It does this all the time, which usually not a problem because I tell it to run the thing anyways. Now the problem is that it asks me which file I want it to open with... do I run it with Internet Explorer, or browse for Minecraft and run it with that? Because I can't play this myself without constant Black Screen issues. I gotta use the Browser version.

EDIT: loving gun mod won't work for me. I just wanted to test it out, but every time I start up, all I get is a black screen(Yes I wanted to shoot zombies like a pansy for stuffs and giggles, then uninstall the mod)

I like betterlight/bettergrass but it's so much effort updating it every time Minecraft updates so I said forget it and won't download again till modder support is improved.

You added a .exe to the end of the file name when you downloaded right?
it was always an unknown filetype for me till i did

Stupid handicapped computer, not putting .exe automatically. This fixed it, though I'm not sure if it will work for me...

the mod isn't working but you aren't crashing because it didn't upload the files
