So, my newest "main" world has brought me to a nice little task I recently finished. When I first saw this mountain, I decided to build a nice little cave home, so I jumped up to a cliff face with my pickaxe in hand and started carving out those 3 windows you see here:

Now, later on after several rooms were carved I added the decorative cobblestone borders to contrast the ceiling and floor, but I still just couldn't really get the feel for my home. I walked out, stood where I stand in the previous picture, and thought: "What will I want this to look like when I build down here? A stronghold cave in the mountain-face looming over my powerful town? Or a humble house up on a hill, glancing over the mountain top at the small beautiful city?"
I decided the latter. A lavish manor overseeing an equally brilliant town would really bring my interest into this world. So I began renovation, which turned out easier then I thought. Keep in mind that none of the interior was renovated to fit this exterior change:

Any criticism? Also, any suggestions for the town that will be near the center of both those pictures, in between the ridges, directly under my house?
