I am wanting to install that minimap you have. I already know what its called, And i can't install it correctly. I put all the .class files in the minecraft.jar, and i put all of the .png files in the gui. I have mod loader installed, But i may have done it wrong. Help would be absolutely wonderful.

If you don't snip that image I will snip your head off.

I think I just put the files in minecraft.jar. Nothing into the Gui specifically. Also after installing an individual mod, start up minecraft to see if you did it right so you know what the exact problem is.
Also, did you delete META-INF?

Altered, that's OK, but it would be a lot cooler if it was in Beta, not Creative.

Didnt someone here build this?

I'm pretty sure someone built it then posted it in otto's thread.

Kevdude, what mini-map is that?

So, my newest "main" world has brought me to a nice little task I recently finished. When I first saw this mountain, I decided to build a nice little cave home, so I jumped up to a cliff face with my pickaxe in hand and started carving out those 3 windows you see here:

Now, later on after several rooms were carved I added the decorative cobblestone borders to contrast the ceiling and floor, but I still just couldn't really get the feel for my home. I walked out, stood where I stand in the previous picture, and thought: "What will I want this to look like when I build down here? A stronghold cave in the mountain-face looming over my powerful town? Or a humble house up on a hill, glancing over the mountain top at the small beautiful city?"

I decided the latter. A lavish manor overseeing an equally brilliant town would really bring my interest into this world. So I began renovation, which turned out easier then I thought. Keep in mind that none of the interior was renovated to fit this exterior change:

Any criticism? Also, any suggestions for the town that will be near the center of both those pictures, in between the ridges, directly under my house?
