Put glass in the ceiling above the door so you can see out. It's a common tactic I use.

yeah but the problem is it was walking on my tree orchard. can't grow trees on glass. also, it's not a normal roof, it's in a cliff, so it has weird highest i different places. i'm trying to get it to walk off.
