Lulzsec has no real need to Ddos MC, at least not as far as I know, it's a gaming site, it isn't supposed to deal with hackers. It it were a banking site, it'd be good they showed security breaches but a game?

Over half the stuff they do is just to piss people off.  If they were to take down WoW, they'd only do it just to watch people cry about it so they could laugh.

Except I can't really say that it matters to me if they take down minecraft.net because I do SSP 99% of the time.

I never MP anyways, I am like whitelisted on 1 server ebcause I don't want to spend time playing at 5 fps with laggy other players.
I host a hamachi network with some friends from time to time though.
