Someone use multiple pistons, like someone pulled off to use an elevator...But make a house that comes OUT OF THE GROUND.
Like...Have the top layer grass, and have it flat, it will look like regular ground, but then a lever hidden by some blocks will push it out of the ground.
It will be difficult...But it would be amazing.

Impossible; no way to wire up the center pistons. You have to make a stack of pistons then and that is impossible to wire up; so max size would eb around 3x3x[X]

This is the reason why I'm not doing it too. :P
The best I've done with pistons is had a nether portal in a room hidden that looked like a simple  wall that separates apart with a hidden lever under my stairs.

EDIT: Wait, I don't think it's possible to do the hidden house thing because you would need pistons in the middle.
Perhaps they can lift the roof, and then retract into being the floor, though.
