I would love little books in Minecraft that you could find.
And you would name them so that they can't be stacked, but you know the difference.
Like, instead of it being called "Book", it can be whatever you named the book.
Maybe even the use of dyes can change the color of the book.
It would be amazing if Notch could write a bunch of little stories and make them appear in chests found in abandoned mineshafts, like a journal, or diary, if you will. They would have to be very rare, but If you write what they all say down, and combine them in chronological order according to the date and entry, you will can know what happened for them to abandon the mineshafts, leaving all their supplies in a chests.
Different worlds will have a different set of books.
