You mean rectangle. Also, Gold is never worth much. Gold tools can break stuff fast, but they wear out extremely fast. Diamonds would be currency.

No, I mean SQUARE.
And diamonds are alot rarer and would be just as bad as gold because they are worth too much.

I'd go with Gold ingots and nuggets for my currency and outlaw gold mining so nobody can get more money and inflate the economy, nuggets would be 1/9th of an ingot and an ingot would be ~$1.
