It's a pain in the arse to change the poll, so if anyone wants to provide me the face texture for each mob up there I'll change it back.

no i had an older image up there. when you change an image on a wiki page, the older one's file still exists on the wiki so i was still linking to an old one

I get a "Can't resolve hostname"/"Unknown Host" error trying to join a friend's server.  Possible ideas?

Oh no, your precious farms will get forgeted over by the winter. If only there were these real-life things called growing seasons!

yeah, that's why it would be loving stupid. while we're adding realism to the game, why not just make it so that you have to place every brick individually instead of getting everything in neat little packages. and why not just remove creative, that's not realistic. forget it, zombies, creepers, and skeletons aren't realistic. let's remove those too. stuff, smp servers aren't realistic, you can't just join new worlds in real life, let's remove those. well, respawning after you die isn't realistic, remove it. if i spend three hours building a massive farm for loving winter to come along and destroy it i'd be pissed. you seem to miss the point about minecraft, it's NOT realistic. besides, i'm not talking about farms for food, i'm talking about prop farms like the one on the lord of the rings server.

Why in the hell are you people automatically assuming that with the addition of seasons will forget up everything? Notch has never said how seasons were to work if he was to add them. You're just jumping to conclusions about them.

Are his ports forwarded? Are you using his right IP address? Are the server and client versions the same?

Means they have to port forward or their connection is stuff. All I get is "Outdated server!" because no one wants 1.9 Pre servers. :(

Who said it did? And if it did if he does add them, how about you add a loving ROOF to your stuffty farms, instead of freaking the forget out and being a giant friend going on about removing everything that's unrealistic because you forgot to take your pills today?
