im pretty sure it will work like that

when you quit program when you are dead with the actual version it save the world and quit game
then you re-load the world, gameover screen still there

I don't get where you think the idea the game would keep after that. I mean, you act like they'd leave such a big loophole. If they actually had such an obvious, huge loophole, they would be really, really stupid.
