What do you mean by fix? Houses a little buried or high? I believe they fixed that... I think...

I made a pit through bedrock, lined with cracked, mossy, and regular stone bricks. Lined that with redstone torches and regular ones. Put a ring of fire at the bottom of it. I've been making cows jump into it.
