Ender pearls have been confirmed to teleport you in a future update.
You throw them like an egg or snowball and they teleport you to that spot but take away health.

I did that in the prerelease on a friend's server.
They forgot to allow that way of traveling to the insta-kick thing. xP

Get the DL link there. You'll also have to downgrade to 1.7.3
The Technic pack also has some other mods like mo creatures and SDKs guns.

Also, are they supposed to be tougher in the 1.9 pre-releases or are they already beefed up in 1.8.1? This one was burning for a while and it only took me 1 well charged arrow to kill it.

They have increased health, can spawn and not be hurt in sunlight, teleport much more often, teleport instantly when touching water (minimizes damage taken by it, makes them forget they were attacking you). They have a bit more damage, and teleporting can leave them in pretty far off unexpected places.

With all this new stuff I want them to remove block taking.
Or at least make it so they only pick up natural blocks (stone, dirt, trees, etc.) or just not touch player placed blocks.
