Hey, the Buildcraft 2.2.0 was supposed to work with 1.8.1.1 right? because it crashes when it gets to the Mojang logo. I have TMI installed, but no other mods. I have modloader, TMI works if I don't have the Buildcraft installed, and yes, I deleted Meta-Inf

If you don't think it is, Then notch should do:

Make the mobs spawn rate very high even at night.
Mobs do more damage then hard mode.
Creepers explode 2X the size and 4X the size when charged.
Charged creepers are common.
Falling does twice the damage.
Drowning does twice the damage.
On fire does twice the damage.
No mobs will burn in the day.

The point is it's hard mode and once you die you can't continue. That's hardcore in the sense it's less video game, more real, in a brutal way.

If you don't think it is, Then notch should do:

AKA make you die within 30 seconds so everyone ignores the setting. When people make a mode too hard with no benefits, the only people who play it are douchebags for a simple video. There's no point to this, it's already locked on Hard difficulty. The point is you can't restart, not that everything defies itself just to be a worse bitch.

Calling the Minecraft world a "worse bitch" for having the attributes you said. The point is just Hard Mode where you lose everything if you die. So what if you do well in it? In a split second, a Creeper can kill you and everything is ruined. Making that more likely is pointless, it's all chance.
