Anyone else get the glitch with Rei's Minimap where it causes Minecraft to freeze for a solid 20-30 seconds when loading a game for the first time?

I hate everything they did with explosions. I miss the particle cloud plus the BOOOM! that was so iconic of creeper attacks and TNT mining. Damn you Mojang, we still love you way too much though. :D
