because minecraft is not an rpg, and you don't get magical exp tokens from cutting down trees, only from de bowling your enemies.

I play Minecraft survival mode like an RPG, rather than a sandbox game. Creative mode is more sandbox to me.

It has hunger and you get xp, which is more of an RPG aspect. The only part I consider sandbox is the infinite terrain, crafting, and building.
