i made a superflat survival world, and spawned 10 blocks from a village :)
also my fps has gone down a lot from 1.0 to 1.1

I don't know. I understand it's a stuffload of work to update, but the way this game out seems like an starfish move. 1.1 isn't even a huge leap code wise from 1.0, most of the snapshots were compatible with 1.0. Not sure how much work he'd need to do.

1.1 doesn't add much content, so they aren't worried about updating that much. I'd much rather have them fix bugs.

hell they should be worried, notch left a lot of people hanging with the promising more gamemodes and the Modding API and the player AI and lua serverside scripting and such.

i kind of want the serverside scripting but that's so old i doubt they'll even consider it now D:

somehow that reminded me of playing a lua enabled roblox server once and using a command to "take control" of other users

fun times...
