build a cool little base in the top of a couple of jungle trees. i've set up a cow and ocelot breeding centre up there, i was lucky because there were two cows trapped in the top of the trees

I just noticed that the huge jungle trees can be cut to make a circular staircase, this is helpful for tree houses.

i've never had a mob climb a vine pursuing me, so dunno if they do, but hardly a problem
