So you're saying we either have to get a ranged weapon or use up all of our hunger bars just to get 2 pieces of pork? That seems pretty stupid an everyone would be limited to farming and fishing until they got a bow.

I'm starting to think you can't be pleased.
So pigs should not run faster than the player, I realize that now. Sue me.
And are fishing and farming not adequate ways of obtaining food?
All I'm saying is that food is far too easy to obtain, and something should be done about it.

Fishing and farming are adequate ways of getting food, but the game would be limited to that so it would be boring as hell and impossible to survive your first days.

The only way they could make getting food harder without completely changing the game mechanics would be to either raise the health of animals, or make them drop less food less often.

Those are stationary... right?

I'm about to download that mod to finally play real survival for once but if it isn't stationary, my idea of making a base-platform underneath for boat travel is ruined :(

The most recent version tells you when and where dungeons are generated, so if you see one generate and you don't think you'll be able to spot a giant loving airship you might want to pause the game and write down the coordinates
