That's some kind of Thaumcraft ruin. I never figured out how to get inside it in survival but in creative if you break the center block on the ground it leads to a long drop into a room full of Thaumcraft items.

Thaumcraft 2 monolith

That's some kind of Thaumcraft ruin. I never figured out how to get inside it in survival but in creative if you break the center block on the ground it leads to a long drop into a room full of Thaumcraft items.

Go researching on your quaesitum more to find a item to open it.

Or if you don't want to:

Get goggles of revealing then a stack of each crystal then put them in the correct slots like where it shows the red you put a fiery crystal in that slot and it shouldn't explode. Then do that for the other three slots and it should open normally. If you research an elderich artifact you can also open the rooms of the monolith which hold more loot and more floating obelisks which can be perfect for more darkness generators.

It doesn't work whether META-INF is deleted or not.

make sure you have all the correct version, go redownload modloader and check to make sure your .jar is 1.2.5
