As a community we need a server that parallels Mindcrack (or at least tries)

I get so jealous when I see what they have going there, a survival world where everyone collects resources and builds, people visit each other's homes and help out

i've had a town torn down before by a greifer, as long as you have roll back or chest protection you are only losing time.

vanilla minecraft gets boring after a year

nothing too much new has been added to gameplay overtime, still the same game.
i like tekkit because it adds lots of things that are relevant to my interests (machines and whatnot) that make the game more interesting and gives you more ways you can play (alchemist or scientist for instance)

I've never been able to really enjoy tekkit because it feels like I need to look through an instruction manual the size of a dictionary and calculate the average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow every time I want to do anything

I can host Bukkit around 24/6, and I pretty much have all the antigreif I need, I'd just have to create a new world and remove Worldedit, then it'd be vanilla.

It's kinda like when you learn how to play vanilla. It's just memorizing recipes and what things do, etc.

But some things (ie coconuts being carried by birds) are more difficult to wrap your head around.

I dislike it because it forgets up my thinking in terms of time period.
