Why do they insist on adding handicapped bullstuff, we can already ride pigs and they want to add this stupid mo' creatures bullstuff to the game. It doesn't fit the game at all, and there's literally no loving reason you would ever need a god damn horse.

Riding pigs is awful and the "Steering" was lazily added.

Exactly, i predict horses will be just as stuff and people will hate them simply because of hor they handle, that or they will be OP and work as an ultra fast mobile chest.

I'm basing my dislike of horses on the basis that they dont fit, their job could be done by an element that has been in the game since beta, and that there are so many other things that could be done that are infinitely better at making the game interesting. Add that to the fact that they are borderline useless and that jeb will probably add some bullstuff like a consumable whip made of hobgoblin foreskins and diamond shards that directs the horse based on which direction you crack it maked the idea even more unnapealing to me.

Yes, they'll go great with the widely ignored wolves and cats! Maybe if we're lucky they'll attack and kill cows and pigs in the wild, that way we have a little army of stuff animals killing off the useful animals, it'll be great!
