Well i get the redundancy part, but why is it that they cant just add it due to so many people wanting it, and if they made it so 4/8 coal only or 4/8 charcoal only, no mixing them would make it so there was no conversion of them

Seriously, moving Charcoal to a new block ID would fix so many problems.

Well, at least it wasn't as big or as small as i was expecting, i thought it might look like a disproportionate war horse or a little pigmy pony.

I'm not calling people who want horses handicaps, though i'm sure both demographics are closely related, i'm calling the idea of adding a new mob to the game to fulfil the job of a mob already in the game because you forgeted up the previous mob's controls.

Imagine they adding a goat because they forgeted up how you get wool from sheep, or they add bison because they forgeted up the "kill cow get stuff" mechanic. It's not even like non-stuff pigs being OP would matter, since the only way for horses to not be terrible is for them to be directly controlable, filling the roll of the pig by adding an extra mob to the game.

You do realize that riding pigs was a huge joke on Notch's part. People kept asking for a mount to ride and he decided to be a troll and added saddles for Pigs. There is nothing wrong with it, its a joke. Tell me, when was the last time you saw someone riding a pig around on a saddle. I sure as hell can't remember a time.

The only problem here is you, thinking that it was added as a serious riding mechanism. It isnt. Its a Joke. A simple Joke, Fred. Jeb pushed the joke by adding the Carrot on a Stick. Hes not adding horses just because he doesnt want to change the Pigs.

Why are you assuming that he wouldn't make horses, a feature which he is adding specifically for transportation purposes, uncontrollable? You are just making blind assumptions for some god awful reason.

So seriously, get that stick out of your ass. If you don't like horses, thats cool. Your hatred isnt going to prevent them from getting added, and you being an ass hole to anyone who disagrees with you is not helping.

With your logic you have no right to complain about anything you haven't created. Don't like that movie? you didn't make it, no right to complain. Don't like that car? didn't make it, no right to complain. Yeah, flawed logic.

Creepers were an accident that Notch decided to make into a monster. They weren't a joke, he chose to add them on purpose as a new monster. That was Notch. Notch made the Creepers, Notch made the saddled Pigs. This is Jeb. Jeb isnt like Notch. Jeb has added several things that the community has been asking for so I dont see why you dont trust him to add something else the community wants.

And, you know, Mo' Creatures invented horses so jeb cant add any of the creatures in Mo' Creatures to Minecraft because Mo' Creatures invented them. Where do you think pistons came from? It was also a mod they "added" to the game.

You dont know what horses will be like. Stop jumping to completely illogical conclusions about things you know nothing about. There is no proof that the horses jeb is adding will be anything like the Mo' Creatures horses (Besides the fact they are horses).

Would you be happier if Jeb added flying Narwhal Mounts instead of horses?
