That's not reasonable. It's much more efficient to create an entire update and make sure it all works than to keep putting out smaller updates and having to patch a ton of stuff.
Yeah, he already knows probably of the bugs with it, so there's no reason to make an update and then receive an inbox full of "WTF INFDEV SIGNS STUPID BUG FIX IT NOW"
well loving stuff, hes already getting a metric stuff ton of bug reports as is.None of my close friends are even excited for MP Survival anymore. I can remember back in like loving february or some stuff he was going to make it until he got that stuffty infinite map idea.

I'd rather him put out a whole bunch of features, rather then just one we will get tired of after awhile. Signs are cool, but what can we do with them beside the obvious. We need more then just one small thing per update.

It's true, though. I understand the whole running into unexpected problems programming is hard shizit, but if he's going to promise a feature on a certain date, he should be very sure he can get it out by then.

Starting work on your birthday is nice. Not only do you get phone calls from people wishing you a happy birthday, you also get to eat cake! I only got like four hours of work in today, so it’s a bit of a slow start, but during that time, I managed to get signs almost completely done:The only thing missing is the crafting of the sign item. Signs work like this:* Craft a sign item (will be finished tomorrow) He didn't say he was adding it the next day necessarily, just that he would be done with it* Place it in the world by right clicking the floor* After placing the sign, you get a popup that lets you edit the text on the sign* If you remove the block the sign is standing on, the sign turns back into a sign item (ie you can place it again elsewhere, with new text)And I even managed to make them save properly to file!Boy, this game development stuff sure is fun! I’ll get some more fun features done this week and release an update to infdev in a day or two. =) Note that this was before he announced doors and ladders, so this is also inaccurate
