Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6782029 times)

indev is easier due to caves.

I have bad news :(
So, while building for sale houses, unfortunately, a huge mound of creepers raped a W.I.P. town wall, so now all there is..
My house, front of town wall, the well, and half of 2 vacant houses.

+ Much smarter door rotation logic (had to remove the “closed” flag for this..)
* Placing doors on glass or stone slabs no longer provide extra resources
* You can now destroy signs easier, and you get a sign back when you do so
* The weird lighting on mobs have been fixed
* Entity shadows are back

The new door logic works like this:

If there’s a door to the left, mirror the door.
If not, and there’s a wall to the right, mirror the door anyway.

When placing doors, they always face you and open away from you into the tile you clicked on.

I might make doors require being placed next to a wall in a future update. Free floating doors are confusing and ugly.

Now I can't duplicate doors

i dug a really deep down (yay ladders) until i hit coal. Now im happy with resources. I also got an asload of ore. now im working on hollowing out my snake rock house.

I miss flowing water. I would use it to make underground farms.

oh what the forget

there is flowing water, just not in infdev.

stuffforget.
I made a mine not too far from the cliff town I've been making for Multiplayer Infdev.
I was digging in a spiral and hit steel heaven, but then I found diamond and I was so happy.
I dug it up and got 2 diamond, then I dug one more and fell into lava, quickly dying.

How do you rotate signs?

How do you rotate signs?
It basically aims to the closest angle it has to facing you.
I.E. If you stare straight at a block, not diagonally, it will face directly toward you.

I hate not having flowing water, my underwater gardens kicked ass

Fun as hell
Like the SNES version of LBP!!
