Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

:O Spawn smack dab on top of surface diamond!!

I just started a new game, dug down 1 block and then fell 6 trillion feet into a giant pool of lava and as I was trying to escape I could see Diamonds in the walls and alot of them too. As I finally got out of the lava and stopped burning I had like 1 and a half hearts left and I was surrounded by diamonds but with no blocks and no tools to use. So I start to go deeper into the cave to find a way out and Im ambushed by a jack skellington and a spider. When I respawn im a million miles away and cant find the hole now.

Okay, well yeah, I exaggerated. But when I spawned I could see diamond to the left of me.

I hope thats just a generator bug that can be fixed. I dont want to start a survival game and then 1 guy gets lucky with a bunch of diamonds right by his spawn and then comes and kills us.

Lesson learned: Dont transport lava with buckets and forget with it. I place it and it spread all over the god damn place AND it doesn't go away by getting rid of the source.

The ones ive been finding go like a bit and get my hopes up then just end ubruptly.

I'm lost in a cave as of right now. Its also an underwater cave, as in I found it whilst swimming. Though its not filled with water, surprisingly. But I'm still lost. And there's lava

Edit:  I dug my way out, but I was just as lost on the surface as I was in the cave. I had a boat so I just wandered along the shore till I found it. I guess I was lucky that I came up on the same island I started on ._.

I built one silly. Its not like crafted or anything, its built out of blocks :P
Also, where does the Cartograph program save the pictures / renders / whatevers to? Or what does it do, because it never gives me an image.

Edit: I found a really tall mountain.


Double Edit: I found a taller mountain.

My map seems to be very mountainous. :D
