the flying things could work like the eagles on the winter level in sly 2
they cast a shadow above you and swoop down in 2-3 seconds after the shadow is cast
id like for the giant things to swoop down and pick you up and then your carried for a while then you die. it would result in some funny "IT TOOK BILLY" moments

spock, there is one somewhere. ask the guy a page or two ago who had one
AKA me.

how about it would take you to its nest, where you have to fight off some baby birds, and wait until the mother bird comes back, then fight to the death.
although, given the character physics, i dont think it would work to well.

Cheating ruins the game.

Cheating ruins the game.

For you, maybe.
I like to cheat so I can test the new features.
I still play it normally on a save, but I cheat to check stuff out.

Everytime I use an actionreplay it feels as if I killed the magic of games I liked

yes
the exact reason i dont use cigarettehair or god items on oblivion
just doesnt feel right

Part of the fun is the satisfaction you get from building/gathering things on your own. If you just cheat and get it all at once, it ruins the fun.

It's currently a SP game.
People can do whatever they want on their own saves.

It still does.

If you use them cheats notch has to work on disabling them before he can releae multiplayer.

like when chriz stumbled upon this huge ass village in H&H, got taken in, and didnt have to work not one bit for anything.

While i was a while away, hunting and killing and stuff.

Cheating does not ruin games at all, the point of a game is to entertain you, just like books and movies. If you happen to be purely enjoyed by reading the last few chapters or skipping parts in movies, you can. It's purely up to you, whether or not cheating actually ruins games depends on whether or not you like cheating.

It's like figuring out you can build a sand castle faster by doing some special quick/easy way, and the only reason you like doing that is so you can tear it down over and over again because that's what entertains you. Then you get these pissy-sandcastle-elite starfishs who are like "What the hell are you doing!? That's just ruining the magic of sandcastles!"

cheating for building is ok by me
cheating for killing and mining and duplicating diamonds is not

I don't mind WoM.

But it kinda bugs me when people do cheats that give them things they don't work for that hard.

See: if someone made a sandcastle by scratch and hard work

and then someone else made one through cheating. The hard work one is more impressive because of the story behind it, how that person spent time to gather sand and materials.
