You know, I've tried that but for some reason I can't find you.

Found a small cave, decided to live in it for the night.
Reaped its rewards, and dug down a bit.
Found a larger cave, got the stuff, found whatever that red stuff is.
Dug in a bad spot, fell into lava.
Survived, healed up.
Holy stuff... best cave ever.

I found out why my idea didn't work, I wasn't using the right method to turn off red torches.

EDIT:
Yep, I fixed the torches and it works.
