I hope so too. I think a neat idea would be to have a formula for a whip of some kind. (Stick, 2 hides in the form of a sword). A whack with a whip to a calm animal would result in the animal staying in a certain area for some time, and maybe jump less.

Or, whip them, they become aggressive and try and attack you but you have to either avoid them or whip them more and then they become permanently tamed?
