There's been an update to the server, they're probably broken. The chances of them working still after the server was updated are generally pretty slim anyhow.

If it says took too long to load keep trying and it will work. If it says unable to connect then yea it possible doesn't work, which is odd because I am actually connecting externally not with my lan IP.

Remove the port number, if it's default you don't need it, and I think it messes up connecting.
