Bah, I don't know why. I could host creative just fine, no lag. At all.

It's infdev, all the features make it lag like stuff sometimes, even if you have no lag on creative.

Just put one in with a stack of 64 stone.

The bucket disappeared and fueled it, now to see how long it burns for...

Edit: Down two pixels in 20 stone.
If you happen to be smelting full stacks of iron and have a lava pit, this is a good thing.

Edit II: Looks like it'll do about two stacks to a bucket.

Wouldn't the lava cool and harden when it's done fueling, leaving a bucket and a bucket-shaped block of obsidian?

Maybe diamond buckets should be able to hold lava.

And yeah, it should leave the bucket. It should also make the furnace spew out lava.

That or furnaces placed with lava immediately under them should not require fuel or something equally huuurrrrrr.
