So, I'm in Skate's server exploring a cave with Kap and Megaguy and stuff, and Megaguy hears a dungeon, so we go after it. Megaguy turns around and I keep going, I find the dungeon and take the contents. Later on while still exploring it I fall in a hole and hear another dungeon, I find it and take the contents. Then Kap starts freaking out and screaming at skate to ban me for stealing. The main reason why he's freaking out? Because I wasn't sitting right behind him while going through the cave.

And it's not even like there was good stuff in them, just 1 iron, 5 redstone, 2 loaves of bread, and a few buckets.

Great reason to scream "Ban him!". I'd say it's all free game provided that you didn't build the structure that is stolen from. Till PvP damage is coded that is.
