for me? a variety, yellow, dark red, dark blue, and green i think i used, i was trying to figure out which area was which, and so i color coded it, before i found that image

Niblic told me it was under the roaming file, But there was nothing there except for a microsoft Cirtificate folder.. I downloaded the second Minecraft.exe on teh downloads page under Windows.. Should i have got the other one?

Yeah light or dark the spawn. I always find them in lava chambers.

Slimes don't spawn or despawn, they're added to the cell when it's generated, which is why they're so rare.
