Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

Im surrounded on all sides by ghasts, all i hear is constant explosions behind me and the screams of burning pig men.
Cant. Stop. Moving.

Yeah thats my battlefield after running across it dodging the pigmen.


Theres about 6 ghasts down there in the distance that you cant see from this picture.

I see some of you haven't noticed that the ghasts aren't the ones making those screeching sounds. Ghasts are really low pitched mumblegrumble sounds. Pigmen are screeching and stuff.

Other way around, look in resources/newsounds/mob/ghast  All of the ghast sounds are high pitched, their moans are high pitched, their screams are high pitched, etc.  The /mob/zombiepig is full of low pitched sounds.

God damnit, Minecraft is being stupid for me. I try to play it, and it opens for a fraction of a second, and nothing happens. When I try the in browser version, my browser closes.
Edit: when I try it on steam, it says 'failed to launch minecraft'

i was on easy mode, i had FULL diamond armor, a skeleton shoots me with an arrow and i go down 3 hearts

how the forget does that work

nah nah, when I get close to the z. pigmen, all I hear is a grumbly-oink. When I get in earshot of a Ghast, I hear babbling and shrieking and whatnot.

I thought of a cool monster idea: A zombie covered in mushrooms that only appears in forest/rain forest environments. Killing it yields a bunch of assorted shrooms. Maybe it would be one big mushroom, actually.
