I swear, I have a portal appearing every 32 blocks I go. >:C

Maybe there could be big moving rain clouds everywhere that make rain, and if they rain over an cold area it makes snow?

Ok so my world was origionally a snow world, but now with biomes its back to a forestish biome, now i've still got snow on the ground and the water around me is ice, any quick ways to get rid of the ice?
