I found a neat little house design. It is cheap, easy to make and still has good utility.

This is  a traditional 5x6 home.
It uses 55 wood (14 logs) (including door and ladder) and 17 stone.




It has a decent advantage with the roof, and it can be made in approximately half a day.
It's cozy and provides nice coverage from mobs, it's design also allows extra levels to be slotted on top.

It's more of a proof of concept. I have been using the design since I started minecraft and that has never happened since.
