So the server I play on has 2 major settlements, Spawntown which is the city surrounding the spawn area, and the Lazuli province, named as such because we set it up to mine for lapis lazuli.
These two settlements are about 3 miles apart.
I was playing alone at the Lazuli province, I got blown (up) by a creeper and ended up back at spawn town, now I don't know the way back to Lazuli mostly because you have to follow a very particular path that we haven't marked yet, having dropped a brand new diamond shovel and pick at lazuli I have to get back somehow.
I start walking in a direction determined only because of an odd sand block that I remembered placing when I left for Lazuli, I walked for about 3 days, I'm about to give up when I see the beacon of Lazuli in the distance.

I've done several searches for "Minecraft Black Screen" and only found issues on starting Minecraft, not in the middle of it. I'll be playing, everything totally loving fine, when suddenly the window turns black and it does not respond. I have to go to Task Manager and turn it off. How do I fix this stuff? I cannot predict when or where it will happen.
