You should get Humans+ so people can spawn in your houses.

This is why I loving hate my laptop. I have a fan underneath it, and it overheats while I was in my Minecraft world. Turn the comp back on, it loving deleted my world...

I don't want to use mods until Notch implements official support for them. Mass paranoia. I prefer the unmodded game anyway.

Get a block or something and prop up your laptop enough so the hot air has room to escape. I had the same problem with my old laptop and that usually fixed it.

Get one of those fan things you can put your laptop on, and a can of air to blow it out. I had the same problem and it was because there was dust in the fan and it was clogged.
