Minecraft made an endless snow world and it took me like five minutes to find trees.

Well I did. Dunno why, but I pretty much went a good distance to find a small patch of trees.

It's happened to me except it was grass and not snow.
But you seem to have a lot of stupid comments on this topic. I'll just start ignoring them.

Notch should add a edit to the server program to let us use Seeds to make specific land for our server.

Step 1: Start a single player game with the desired seed.
Step 2: Do nothing to new world, save and quit.
Step 3: Move the world files onto the server.
