Didn't for me.

I tried it also, and it didn't go away.

I actually haven't tried that idea yet. I just thought it sounded pretty awesome when I came up with it.

SMP Nether play is still glitchy as hell when you die.

That's why you have to be careful. ;)

EDIT: Used a water bucket, and the water disintegrated. Using just water (data value 8), doesn't disintegrate.
Changing the rules a bit...

Hey guys, I've been screwing around with vector graphics a bit.

What are vector graphics?

What are vector graphics?
Not exactly sure how to explain it, so I'll use an example.

In a PNG file, if you were to size an image down, it'd lose quality.

In a vector image file, it wouldn't.

It's based off of numbers representing locations of certain points in the image such as a shape's size and position rather than colors of pixels in the image.

I thought PNGs were vector files, and JPGs and GIFs were bitmaps.

How do you make them though? Is there a special program or do you just save it as a certain file

Really? Because when sizing down a high-res image in GIMP it becomes pixely.

I used Inkscape, which might be only for linux but I'm not sure. Adobe Illustrator is also a vector image editor I believe. There are probably a good number of free ones out there though.

Dl here.

That and I don't really want to pirate it. Just too dodgy for my moral sense to handle.
If you want you can use my account... >.>

No. PNGs are just higher-quality with transparency.

Most images you see anywhere are raster graphics (pixel based). JPGs, PNGs, GIFs, etc.
Vectors are used for images that are made to scale or rotate. Flash games can often use vectors.
