My view on story mode:
When story mode is added , and you go to the nether and defeat a certain boss there , everything should start to shake , and some blocks would fall as if they were sand or gravel , tiny bits fall , the nether slowly collapses and you must get back to your portal , before everything collapses. At the horizon , there are nothing but ghasts , and the lava level in the nether slowly rises simulating the ground sinking in the lava.

When it says "Mojang Specifications" you see behind all of the ghasts at the horizon , a notch head rising to the point you can just see his head , but not his neck. The ghasts shoot him , but it has no effect. You hear a very loud sound and see Notch's better-than-diamond-ore eyes ligth up witb a light so bright , it burns everything in it's path. All the ghasts die , and you are temporarily blinded. The eyes shoot huge blue plasma beams after the chargeup that slowly solidify all lava. The notch head descends again , leaving you with a path to your portal. Once you get to the portal , a final ghast that hid himself comes and shoots out your portal , just before you are able to enter the portal. Your head fills with rage , your screen goes all 3D-overlay and you take your sword , make an epic leap from a high cliff over lava in slow motion to the ghast , land on his head , put your sword in the top of it , and ride it while it slowly spins down like a crashing helicopter. You see the nether spinning so fast around you , and spot an outhang somewhere next to the ghast. You wait till it is in the right position , and make an epic leap. Suddenly , the lava begins rising faster , and boiling hotter. The small lava projectiles become more and more , and they hit your portal frame because they fly so high , and because the lava rises. The portal is re-activated , and you jump trough in your final , epic move. Back at your world , there are 100 dark days of 24/7 night awaiting you. But you get the power. You feel in your pocket , just to see Notch has put a bit of his powerstones from his eyes in your pocket. You quickly make it into a sword , wich is infact capable of KILLING creepers even before they SPAWN. After these 100 days of constant fighting , at the horizon it isn't the sun rising , but it is Notch's head , killing all creepers with his lazer eyes. From that day on , Notch illuminates the night sky , and you can see bright lazers going from his eyes to nearby enemies. You have finally succeeded.
