Are you hosting the multiplayer server?

And are you sure your internet connection is good?

I don't really understand this whole faction thing, can I go on the server if I am not in a faction? Do I get invited on the server or here?

You need to join the server, get invited in the faction, and be tped to the secret base.

IP?

I have a problem.
I have recently had graphics cards dying out of the blue, so I am currently using a computer without a graphics card until I figure out why they are all dying.
That isn't the problem though.

The problem is, can I run Minecraft without a graphics card? May be a stupid question, because I'm sure my PC doesn't just have accelerated openGL built into it or anything, but I get this error every time I try:
Code: [Select]
     Bad video card drivers!
      -----------------------

Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

I used to have an nVidia geforce 8800 in my box, but I took it out because of previously stated reasons.
My specs are:
Windows Vista
Pentium(R) Dual Core CPU E5200 2.50GHz
4 GBs Ram
1.5 TB hardrives. (one 1TB drive and one 512GB drive)
Possible? If so, how to?

Maybe you need to install/update your Onboard drivers

Depends if your CPU comes with inboard graphics and if your motherboard accepts it.

I don't have any separate display drives I could update, but the fact that I can see images and play videos fine is evidence enough that there is some kind of on-board thing.

I think openGL is distributed with the graphics card.

According to plenty of google searches, minecraft requires openGL 1.4 and accelerated openGL 2.0, or something along those lines. Older cards don't have them, so I may just be out of luck until I find a replacement.
