Yes, gold is faster than the other tools but it is very soft so unless you want to keep on typing the command to get more gold tools; i suggest getting diamond.

This server is like Crafting factions, except for two things.  Nether is in, and there is no Tp'ing.  :D

I've made a faction called Taledras, for any interested.
