Diamond shovels are the second most wasteful item in the entire game. Sure it only costs one diamond but come on now, you don't need to dig dirt, gravel and sand THAT fast. Iron shovels plow through that stuff pretty fast as it is.

7th day of not dieing. dug and actually fell in a cave and found a dungeon placed a forgetton of torches around the hole i made. after a while i finally got the spawner gone
