Lucky ass Anybody getting a zoomed in map sdgdfgsgf.
I needed to walk 2000 meters. My map, is Sq(2000x2000) meters in diameter.
Too lazy to calculate. Comes down to like what, 3000 blocks?

at the default zoom level

 1px = 8x8 blocks and the whole map is 128x128px big

 4px = 1 chunk

 so the whole map is 32x32 chunks or 1024x1024 blocks

Lava defenses are cool as well.

I'm planning to have the inner side of the wall completely obsidian, and keeping lava in the walls and underground.

With pistons, I could put floodgates in the walls to pour out onto the water and trigger some sort of trap, as well as push lava up from the ground.

In theory.

It's amazing how much people's opinions can change when they can actually experience something for themselves.

This guy who only plays COD was like "Minecraft? Oh you mean that game with all of the little blocks? Pffft"
Then one of my friends bought in his laptop with Minecraft running, and two hours later the guy was like "OMG THIS IS SO COOL" and bought it that same day.

I used to think Minecraft was really boring, then I played Creative and liked it, so I bought it.
And then Indev got really boring.
But recently, with everything that's been added since then, I really started liking it a lot more.
I'd say about a month and a half ago to two months.
