Extract the .zip file and put the .class files into Minecraft.jar.
Other .jar files in it probably belong in .minecraft\bin along with Minecraft.jar.
Pistons mod just requires you to put the .zip in .minecraft\mods after installing ModLoader and ModLoader MP.
