Besides, I already have a farm in the village too

Your village is devoid of plant life.

It's just not my kind of thing.

But whatever. :U

Solution: plant grass around the houses and trim all the grass that's not around the house.

makes it look like a flower bed.

I was thinking like a couple trees, small moats of water around some of the bigger homes with sugar canes surrounding them, flowers in front of some houses, a few hedges, and a stuffload of grass.

Bump because Minecraft needs to stay alive on the BL forums

I mad, is it possible to put my 1.6 maps in a 1.7 minecraft folder?

I don't find it acceptable to play on a monitor smaller than 1920x1080. That picture actually is resized from his 1920x1080. The only time I'd use a computer for anything and find it acceptable to have it lower than 1080 is if I'm on a laptop.
I'd love to play in 1080p except two things;
  • I don't have the money for a 1080p monitor right now,
  • I would likely get a GPU upgrade before a 1080p monitor.  Higher resolution = more to render for the GPU.  A single GTX460 can run lots of games on high in 1440x900, but going up to 1920x1080 would mean I might have to turn it down to medium for some games.  And, a new GPU would in turn probably require me to get a new power supply and maybe a new case to get better airflow for the GPU.  I'd probably get maybe like two GTX660s in the future.

My Radeon HD 4850 can run GTA IV maxed out on my 1080p monitor using a resolution of 1920x1080.

I spent like 5 hours screwing around with redstone and pistons and ended up making some pretty cool things. Recreated a few things Jeb featured in his video and make a few of my own silly contraptions.

As long as you didn't have any now-outdated addons that would corrupt your save if not updated to 1.7.2, yes.
