Definately a creeper. Coal doesnt magically appear in the shape of a creeper face. Go into MS Paint or Paint.NET or something like that and zoom it on it.

No. Look closer. You can see that the patter is that of coal. But what's that thing to the left of the zombie?

that thing next to the zombie is a dead skeleton

Oh yeah...

Maybe the sand creeper is actually just a camouflage creeper that just uses the textures of whatever block it spawns on.

Oh dear.
Ice creeper = Transparent creeper =O

Perhaps it's a new dungeon-variant of the creeper. After all, Notch did mention a SCARY mob and that creeper sure is damn creepy. Silverfish doesn't seem that terrorising at any rate even if it will eat all your wooden buildings.

Notch said on twitter that 1.8 will be playable on Mojang booth at PAX

i actually hate finding lava, water, and caves when i dig.
i get far more finds just digging blindly, then running around an open area.

It's important enough that it'll be featured at Pax? What if Minecraft has some sort of self developing story line now? Action music when in these tombs instead of casual ambient? New mobs? :o

Northwest America I think.

Badspot went one time and one Blockland player showed up.

Was the member placed on a rotating circular platform while a beam is shined at him through the darkness so Badspot had the chance to lecture everyone on the fundamental properties of a Blockhead?

I would so love to be the subject.

Downtown Seattle Washington to be more specific. Tickets appear to be all sold out though. Lol

I've watched all that yogscast has to offer, can anyone suggest another good minecraft podcast?

Im pretty certain that's coal.
