I kindof did. I made a path near the lava pool to go to a "coffin"
In that room there's a partially concealed level. Pull it, stairs slide back, and secret cave to a nether infected tunnel.

I'm all geared up for the adventure update (Which will be released around 28 august according to Notch). I have a long dug out channel connecting 2 great lakes, one of which has a not-fully-explored-edge. Nearby the shore of the lake is a small cabin; containing:
-2 sets of diamond armor
-4 diamond swords
-5 stacks of arrows
-30 blocks of TNT
-2 stacks of ladders (LET US SCALE THE MOUNTAINS OF CHUNCKERROR!)

All legit.
Took me ages.
