I only use it if I want to build things that aren't made of things that are obtained easily. Like right now, I'm working on a TARDIS Made of Lapis Luzuli blocks and blue wool. It's a loving massive structure and it wouldn't be reasonably possible to gather all of the resources I'm using.

I'm all geared up for the adventure update (Which will be released around 28 august according to Notch). I have a long dug out channel connecting 2 great lakes, one of which has a not-fully-explored-edge. Nearby the shore of the lake is a small cabin; containing:
-2 sets of diamond armor
-4 diamond swords
-5 stacks of arrows
-30 blocks of TNT
-2 stacks of ladders (LET US SCALE THE MOUNTAINS OF CHUNCKERROR!)

All legit.
Took me ages.

That sucks. Too bad you will have to either explore a huge distance or make a new map to get all the new stuff

I finaly updated my mods to work with 1.7.2 and then 1.7.3 comes out.
